This person belongs to those who can boldly say: “I made myself.” After all, behind every detail of his works is his own vision, handwriting, style, worked out and thought out over dozens of years of hard work. Mr. Bohdan Novoselskyi was the first on the territory of Ukraine to become a corresponding member of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture in the field of blacksmithing, winner of many international exhibitions, awarded the Order of St. Sylvester by Pope Benedict XVI. The artist’s works are grand constructions that are distinguished by their powerful forms and elegance. Bohdan Novoselsky perfected monumental artistic forging to the level that is called “modern Ukrainian baroque”. On January 22, 2009, Mr. B. Novoselsky will be awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine.
