This person belongs to those who can boldly say “I made myself”, because behind every detail of his works there is his own vision, handwriting, style, worked out and thought out over several decades of painstaking work. Today, Mr. Bohdan Novoselskyi is a master of artistic blacksmithing, a well-known philanthropist, a correspondent member of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture, a winner of many international exhibitions, festivals and competitions, an honorary citizen of his hometown of Horodenka. And recently, Mr. Bohdan received a special message from Pope Benedict XVI about awarding him with the Order of St. Sylvester. The honorary award was presented by the ruling bishop of the Kolomyia-Chernivtsi diocese of the UGCC, Bishop Mykola Simkailo.

In this way, the contribution of the “Blacksmiths’ Workshops of Bohdan Novoselskyi” to the construction of churches was honored. On the pages of issue No. 3(5) for 2006, our magazine published the article “Conductor of the Ukrainian Baroque” about the Master and the Teacher – about Bohdan Novoselskyi. Today we have the honor to show the reader real art in metal.
